Historic Houston estate - Shadyside, Houston.   The house, designed by noted architect Birdsall Brisco in the 1920s, was completely renovated and updated with a new kitchen, a home theater and other interior improvements, without diminishing the original Brisco design.   The partial basement was converted into a wine cellar with space for small dinner parties.   Existing garages were remodeled to house the owner's collection of Italian sports cars in a climate-controlled environment.
