1920's Garage and quarters transformed into Asian gallery - Courtland Place, Houston.   The owners, collectors of eastern art and furniture, wished to convert their 1920's era garage and quarters into a contemporary retreat for the display of selected artifacts from their collection.   The project involved the complete demolition of the interior, and creation of a double-height space with a loft on the second level, reached by a minimalist staircase.
